CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
MORE THAN YOUR STANDARD ELECTRICIAN

Since our incorporation, AL Technical has been passionate about giving back and supporting the community that has helped us grow to where we are today.

Through close work and collaboration with community groups, businesses, and community leaders, we have chosen to focus our efforts on the four key areas below.
EDUCATION
We work closely with schools and colleges helping them bring through the next generation of electricians and business leaders.
We regularly visit schools and colleges to spark interest in the industry, speak to students about what career they want to have in our industry and help guide them towards the right career path.
For students that show and interest and want to proceed with these career opportunities, AL Technical offers varied apprentice opportunities for the right candidates.
COMMUNITY
We believe that supporting our community with our expertise where possible is incredibly important.
Over the course of a year, we try to support a number of different projects to really benefit the community both directly and indirectly.

COVID saw us create a community helpline in collaboration with the Newtown Network - COVID-19 which meant that there was less pressure on families and care services and that vulnerable isolated people could connect with someone in this scary time.

ENVIRONMENT
We understand that we have a role to play in managing and minimising the effect we have as a business on the environment and encouraging others to do the same. This is why we have recently sent our engineers on training on how to install Electric Vehicle charging stations and solar panels, giving people of Mid Wales the option to invest in these more sustainable renewable energy sources.

Whilst carrying out any lighting work, we are recommending people choose LEDs as they are better for the environment and cost effective for our clients.
PEOPLE
People are at the heart of everything that we do here at AL Technical. We are passionate about investing in our people, in training and even putting our staff through university courses!

We offer all of our staff a paid day off a year to carry out charitable work/fund raising, should they wish to, as well as regularly donating to a local charity for every completed feedback form from clients.

Everyone deserves equal opportunities and this is something which we are extremely passionate about and is demonstrated through our recruitment processes and procedures.
